HechoAmano: I think we need to get the Koreans in here. Those suckers know how to build a nuclear power plant, and as I understand, can get it done in five years. As I was told and then read recently nuclear waste isn't as bad as it used to be, and half life is down to 20-30 years or less, then it goes inert or reverts back to ore condition. Screw all these windmills, they have a life of 10-15 years and require constant maintenance. Let's build more plants. It's the only way to generate the power we need for the future with the technology we have now.

Riverrat: I've read a couple places where the windmills don't produce enough electricity in their life time to even pay for themselves.
