our 1998 with the straight 6 has been trouble free for the most part. if that one has the plastic windows in the drivers and passenger doors you are gonna want to upgrade to the sliding glass windows.

My brother had one with the canvas top. It was very noisy driving down the road. Almost impossible to have a conversation at highway speed.

Yeah, my first Jeep had half doors…. Never do that again. I do like my soft top, with full doors. They come right off, I didn’t use the half doors enough to justify the noise or painful zippers to take down the window
