snippy: they look nice but were pelted by radiation bigtime. i worked 4 years there total, mt st helens included for USGS. we mapped radiation with instruments on my helicopter. a MD500D. we tracked it clear to nebraska. montana and idaho were bad. wyoming was the best outa the area but not that much. down south was clean by the nuke base but thats a potential target because of the nukes.

snippy: the weapons depo at umatilla had the worlds worst/deadliest bombs. they tried to take them apart but kept killing soldiers so they buried the biggest bunch of nerve gas and serin.(sp?) some was sent to alabama. addison if i remember.

snippy: all that kinda shit moves east with the prevailing winds. hanford is an underground nightmare of the superfund style.

snippy: one of my oldt work buddies from evergreen was col of umatilla during the bad days. he ded. cancer.

snippy: the giant ass haarp system east of klamath is fucking huges. ive been told its now only pointed east because its just a link in the overall system. i heard they changed the name but i cant remember to what.

snippy: cancer blooms all over north idaho. its to the west of I5 is the best of the west. except for the politics. but stay rural and its the best kind of clean living.

snippy: not to mention you will freeze your ass over there. harsh place to scrape a living from.

snippy: should mention the radiation we tracked was from hanford. this was before the fuku crap.

snippy: if i could live anywhere in the PNW it would be on san juan island above friday harbor somewhere. banana belt and lush forest. too pricey for me tho by far. airport there is lovely too.
