Maynard: i hear ya....i wasn't into the Grateful Dead until about 3 years ago. But there isn't anything new coming out that i'm remotely into these days so i'm kinda forced to look backwards into older stuff to find "new to me" music.

HechoAmano: I have the same problem, nothing new appeals to me. I listened to basic rock n roll ONLY in my younger days, stones, van halen, zz top, ac/dc, that kind of stuff. Never a fan of heavy metal or glam bands (kiss? yuck). As I got older I grew to like other genres or whatever. I have country western, mostly pre 2000, and other stuff. Occasionally I hear some interesting tune in a commercial and end up downloading it from iTunes. So yea, I have learned to like a lot more music...but not the Grateful Dead. I could go the rest of my life never hearing "Truckin" again and be happy.
