Riverrat: If the earth wasn't flat levels wouldn't work. You need a flat surface for a level to do anygood. Also if the earth wasn't flat your coffe would always be in your cup at an angle. Walking would be difficult because you would always be walking at an angle. Can you imagine trying to build a sky scrapper on a ball. You need a flat surface to build something like that on. There are just way to many things that prove the earth is flat because they wouldn't work if we lived on a ball.
