Developing stage 4 prostate cancer in just 6 months is highly unlikely but not entirely impossible in rare cases. Prostate cancer typically progresses slowly over years, not months. Stage 4 means the cancer has spread beyond the prostate to distant organs or lymph nodes, which usually takes significant time.
However, in aggressive forms like high-grade (Gleason score 8–10) or neuroendocrine prostate cancer, rapid progression could theoretically occur, especially if undetected earlier.
