im overhauling my granddads oldt springfield 1903-a3 in 3006. (ww1) right now. i have to re-barrel it. im gonna put a .308 barrel on it.

turns out its a 1917 remington . and the barrel was fine. it had crayons packed in it. at my sisters house i guess her brats got to it 30 years ago. its all healthy again.
