about 3 grand with all the goodies.

UncleJesse:
Do you run a huge antennae line into a tree also?

snippy:
i have two antenna, a j-pole and a discone, and run thru an icom antenna tuner. the high g-hertz and two meter/ten meter come in great. the HF could use a larger antenna im thinking of a huge yagi that i could point around in different directions.

Homer:
sounds like a pain in the ass..

snippy:
and the reason for the yagi instead of omnidirectional is these mountains channel and block rf waves while at the same time offering overload on some frequencies. filters alone wont cut it.

snippy:
its fun and interesting Homre!

UncleJesse:
Cool, thanks for the info.

snippy:
weird how this pic bumped itself eh?
