Kryten: You only think its great because your, personal preferred candidate got elected. If the US were a REAL democracy then the President would be elected by the majority of its citizens. We would see candidates going to where most people actually live to campaign, but instead they spend most of their time in battleground states with smaller populations that don't represent the sentiments of the rest of the f'ing country Yeah. Great system.

Riverrat: The reason they go to battleground states is those states are pretty much undecided. Kamala doesn't need to go to NY or CA because they always go Democrat. Trump doesn't need to go to states that always go Republican. They need to go to the states that need to be persuaded to vote for them.
