UncleJesse: Lol… For some short term minor repairs there is special aviation tape that is allowed to be used on commercial aircraft (I’ve seen pics)

HechoAmano: I remember being on a flight years ago, and during boarding I was in a window seat and watched a mechanic use this stuff to tape over exposed screw/rivet heads on top of the jet engine. Back then it wasn't very reassuring.
