HechoAmano: Change all fluids, front brake pads, fix this, adjust that...and the next round of stuff I need/want to do will be about $1000.

Homer: why not do that kind of stuff yourself? fluids and brakes pads on a bike are easy things to do..

HechoAmano: I'm pretty nomadic at this point in my life. I rent, I have no garage space, got rid of all but basic tools, and honestly, I worked on my old motocross/dirts bikes, and did most of the needed work on my old Sportster...but I'm tired of that crap. Pay someone who knows exactly what they're doing...

HechoAmano: The fluid change on this thing was about $300 on this thing, that's about the going rate. I actually saved a few hundred by using someone who was referred to me instead of taking it to an HD dealer. Still gonna need a new back tire soon, and gonna have to replace the odometer...

Homer: Yea dealers are a total ripoff. you made the rite choice on that for sure.
