Around here I would have to disagree. But then I rarely go to SC's or Breastaraunts anymore. Back in the day they had to be pretty hot to strip in the better places, and even the dives. Right after my divorce I was doing my drinking in strip clubs because, why not? Anyway I started checking out the dive clubs. One I went to this "chubby" to put it nicely, stripper go up on stage, and guys moved away from the rail. Nobody tipped the poor gal, and she ended up just standing there, and then just sitting on the side of the stage until her songs were over...

The Porthole Pub must be like our Shark Lounge. No longer in business but back in the day they had that same reputation. I went there one time when I was still in high school. The dancer came out and had stretch marks for miles. She danced to Highway To Hell. I was in dire need of eye bleach, promptly finished my beer and left.

Yea, it's been a long time, I'd probably be disheartened by what I see in the clubs around here now. Couple guys that are owners in Baby Dolls are customers. They just sold out to Ricks Cabaret. One of them said, after 50 years of dealing with the business he was ready.
