True story. So, this place is gone now, for a few years. The original chef, Grady Spears, is well known around these parts as kind of a country food guy. He opened several really nice places then...went off his meds apparently. In the last few years he has been arrested for domestic abuse, which quickly went to a "I'm really sorry, I was off my meds, my wife forgives me", back in 2018. They divorced soon after. He's always been known as "eccentric" but it's probably his mental state. He kind of, maybe has several places going, who knows, nowadays it can be vague where he's working, or owns, but in June he got charged with a state felony soliciting a hooker.
