Ridgerunner: A few years ago I'm on 1-95 heading to Jacksonville and the wheel of a small trailer broke off like this one did. It rolled and fell flat in the left lane, my lane. Cars in front of me start swerving around it, I saw it about 75 - 100 yds out and switched lanes. There was a Honda Civic behind me, I'm looking in my rear view mirror expecting to see it follow me as well. The lady driving it kept going straight, I'm thinking 'Hello? Move lady...c'mon'. She see's the wheel when she gets about 20 yards from it, takes a hard right, hard left, she goes out of control and in to the tree line. I could see everyone swerving to avoid her, the wheel, and then the tops of the trees rattling after getting hit. Whatta shit show all because of the inattentiveness of two people, the trailer owner, and the Honda Civic driver.
