so i had a friend who was moving to osaka to teach english, said you could bank around 30k a year and i thought that was a sweet headstart so I went as well- sold my car, most of my shit, quit my job and flew to Osaka. After a month my only job was as an escort at a karaoke bar so I came home. My buddy stayed a year, came home with no money saved and yellow fever.
