Fleedle: there are 2 toll roads by me- turnpike and sawgrass- they did put in lanes on 95 where if you want to pay you can to drive in what used to be an HOV lane

HechoAmano: The problem around DFW now is the state has gotten these foreign companies to come in and rebuild the highways to add lanes. So, they come in, take years to redo and "upgrade" the highways, and all it looks like to me, is that the lanes are still the same number, none added, but they put in express toll lanes. But, since they were built by a private company they can charge whatever they want to use them, and during peak times when things are backed up, people have seen the rates be $20 to go four miles. But hey, the state didn't have to pay anything for the road work. WIN!
