It probably wouldn't handle going in the ocean very good. Looks like a shallow water boat with a lot of get up and go. It probably sits fairly low in the water and can't take much of a wave.

Similar boats are pretty common at the Colorado River, Lake Havasu, Lake Mead, etc. The boating equivalent of a hot rod. Fast and loud, not real practical.
