ITM: That coupler wont hold to that copper nipple,looks like. If you replaced that copper nipple with a galvanized one the coupler might hold better...Fuck it...looks like it aint going nowhere now anyway...pats Speedy on the back. Count on an Engineer to complicate the shit outta something...Ha!

Speedy: You are exactly correct on all counts. I engineered up an axial clamp from common Home Depot components.
