it's all politics. i read that the prosecutor has a connection to the family's lawyer and she's married to a city councilman. i think they're requesting a special prosecutor.

Also heard the cops say the deadt dude was on heroin, with a long history of putting on a show when he was arrested and then snitching once they got him to the station. They claim they were numerous times this dude gave leads that solved a variety of crimes.
