Ridgerunner: I have a feeling the Jamaican food truck guy hasn't a clue what 'brunch' really is. The war department and I went to Sandals in Jamaica several years ago. Their properties have several restaurants that varying degrees of fanciness for dinner. We opted for the steak house at the last minute. Checked in with the Maître D' who said 'I'm sorry sir, we won't be able to seat you right away, we are ala carte. Do you know what that means?' I said, 'No, never heard of ala carte. Please tell me.' He replies, 'That means you have to have a reservation.'
