Homer: helmets.. not such a bad idea.

Riverrat: This kid was my cousins best friend and the girl that pulled in front of him was another friends girlfriend. And yes helmets aren't such a bad idea.

BigJay: Helmet laws suck. BTW, goodt thing it kilt him, ifn he was wearin a helmet, he wooda been a vegetable/drain on the obumacare system, right?

Riverrat: His buddy that was wearing a helmet spent the night in the hospital and was released.

BigJay: Gladt he's OK. I just get tiredt of hearin people bitch about it. The big claim they make is that if you're in an accident, you'll be a drain on the healthcare system. Sometimes I respond with "If yer worriedt about a drain on the health care system, look at all the illegal aliens". Other times I tell'em to shut the fuck up & buckle their seatbelts. I just dependts, you know...

Riverrat: In FL if you don't wear a helmet you are suppose to have insurance or enough cash to cover medical bills if you are in an accident. The medical bills aren't what concern me. It's the grief his friends and family are now going through and this 16 year old girl is going to have to live with the fact that she killed someone. And when you have 2 people, 1 with a helmet and one without and the one with survives, at least in this accident it's hard to argue against the helmet.
