HechoAmano: In and out in about 10 seconds, got nothing (as usual) broke a window that will probably cost us several hundred bucks.

HechoAmano: So, there was at least two of them I saw on camera outside. The broke into the place next door, (glass door) and then a couple doors down another place. Years ago we replaced the front door when it got broken with Lexan. At least we haven't had to replace a door since then.

HechoAmano: The motion detector went off, but since the guy was moving fast, (we, and alarm guys, think) it went into a delay mode waiting for another hit or something. Course at 7:30 this morning my phone was going nuts with the alarm app saying sensors were going off all in the building...which turned out to be the cop who had either seen the glass broken in front of the THREE buisnesses they hit, who was then walking around in our store clearing it.

HechoAmano: Don't want to ghetto things up even more. Also, doubt our landlord would be willing to let us do it. Big thing is, they never get anything. No money left out overnight. They come in, see the register is empty, look in a couple of drawers, and leave.

HechoAmano: Sad thing, area is full of expensive neighborhoods. Right around the corner is a housing development that has homes that go into the multimillions. The problem is, back in the 70's Arlington let a bunch of apartments be built, all over town mostly. Back then they were really nice, now most are ghetto section 8, and since Katrina have gotten really bad. Our strip center has ghetto apts across the street and at the right of the building.
