Clammy: Wow !

Riverrat: I actually did get hit by lightening once. I had gone to jump start my sisters car. It was sunny out but a light drizzle. When I went to close the hood of the car I was all of a sudden surrounded by a very bright light and I saw bolts of electricity go between my hands and the hood of the car. My hands were about 8" or 10" from the hood. I ended up on my butt several feet in front of the car. I felt fine so didn't go to the doctor. But later that afternoon my arms started to hurt really bad. I took some aspirin and that calmed it down some. I ended up loading up on more aspirin and going to bed early. The next morning the pain was gone. Obviously it was a mild in direct hit but I don't really want to do that again.
