Riverrat: I haven't done in grilling in years. You get a good cast iron pan nice and hot so it gets a good sear on the meat and it comes out just as good as a grill with out all the hassle of the grill. And who wants to stand outside messing with a hot grill when it's 90+ outside.

Fleedle: you dont see many gas grills at a bbq competition

HechoAmano: Things have changed a bit since this. I have the griddle now so when I smoke something outside that needs searing I do it on the griddle. It's nice cause it keeps the house from smoking up since there isn't a ventahood in the kitchen.
