HechoAmano: I remember (barely) seeing Elvis Costello in a shack of a venue in east Dallas once. I think we paid like $10 walk up, no chairs, just a small, open, in door space where everyone stood and drank beer out of plastic cups. Not a lot of people big on Elvis back then. I more or less went because it was a weekend night and a couple of other friends were going, so I mainly went just to hang with them.

gettheledout: that's a decent venue for concerts, outdoors at the Embarcadero so yeah people on boats can easily listen to the concert for free. I heard half a Radiohead concert for free sitting on the patio at a Joes Crab Shack several years ago
