Riverrat: I've seen a few accidents caused the same way. When people are being let in they think all lanes are clear and just drive into the path of a car. I don't let someone in unless I can see all lanes are clear. I don't want to be the cause of an accident trying to be a nice guy. And I'm careful to stay in the lane I'm being let into if someone is being nice to me.
