snippy: sweet! mine is the smaller one. its 3/4 ton with 16.5 inch wheels. and singles in the back. im going to keep the oldt school running gear. this one here is duals with 20 inch wheels and i cant believe they put a chevy engine in it.

Riverrat: They probably did the restomod to make it a better daily driver. I would suspect they redid the steering, brakes and suspension with modern stuff also if they did a frame off and upgraded the other stuff. You can't put that much go in a vehicle if you don't have the whoa and suspension to handle it.

snippy: maybe.^ it sure would be easier to swap the running gear out then looking for all the oldt shit if your truck didnt come with it. i think if i restore mine im gonna stick with oldt school. daily drivers are a dime a dozen. id like a hot rod pickup, say a 37 ford w/all updates but this old diamond t will stay true to its nature.
