Maynard: when i walk into a people bar i expect people dander. the next time i walk into a dog/cat bar i'll expect dog/cat dander. otherwise i don't want to the two mixed. what is so confusing about this?

Maynard: dander is only part of it. the dogs shit and puke and i've seen owners look at it and laugh and not clean up after their pets. i've been told this isn't the dogs fault it's the owners faults. okay, fine but let that be the owners fault at HOME. not where i'm eating a meal and drinking a beer. Also, they bark for no fucking reason. they just keep barking. when 2 or more dogs are in bars they start barking at each other and growl and fight. some owners let their dogs off the FUCKING LEASH to just roam around the bar. they go up to other tables and try to sniff their food. the owners must think everyone must love my dogs because why wouldn't they. they don't mind if they sniff their crouch and beg for food. get the fuck out of here!!!!

Riverrat: I was attacked by someones mangy mutt today. I was walking by this van at the gas pumps and this big black dog started barking and lunged out an open window and got my shirt sleeve. I was able to pull free. I'm just glad he didn't get my arm. I was at least 2 feet away from the van. I don't know where the owner was. Because I wasn't injured I didn't wait around for the owner.

Yea, some are very obedient but then you get the ones who jump on you, try to sniff everyone's ass, and love the ones who come up to you, or come up to your table, sniff and then start growling and shit. Most of the time, no shit, the owners are oblivious or try to laugh it off. I tellya, if I ever get bit by some dumshits dog somewhere, I'm suing them, and the business. A business, bar or restaurant being pet friendly is some really stupid shit in this day and age. The ones that promote it will get a full load of the goofy oblivious pet owners who are the worst ones.
