i know i'm going to catch hell for this but i don't get it with this guy. i've always thought his music was terrible.

i'm 40 years old and i've always thought that you had to be in your late 40's to appreciate this guy. compared to his peers he's lacking in the listenability (if that's a word) category. i've always heard he puts on incredible shows for 3 hours but that's like watching someone else fuck your wife for 3 hours.....not very enjoyable.

i'm not sure if someone handed me free tickets to see this guy i wouldn't scoff and walk away.

I'm well north of late 40's and I don't like his music much at all. I saw him live once, only because someone gave me free tickets.
Maynard:
speedy...what i meant to say is that of the bruce fans they are older than 48 (or so it seems). how many fans born after 1969 are fans of this guy....not many. that's all i was trying to say. Bruce reminds me of motorhead....in that everyone says they like them but when it comes time to listen to them you listen to something else.

I thought The Boss fronting U2 was incredible. Bono must have really screwed up his arm with his bicycle wreck in NYC. What Springsteen has done for music is much like what Bob Dylan did in his time in front of the bright lights.
