Ever had one that let their dog shit all over the place, and another who let her cat shit all over the place, leave dead food rotting in a fridge after the electricity was cut off? Who would want to stop doing that?!

My parents owned a small, cheap 8 unit apartment bldg when I was growing up, we worked over there almost every weekend cleaning up some kind of shitty mess. Convinced me I never, ever wanted to be a landlord.

I've known a few people that had rental property. Renters like to destroy stuff. At minimum it's painting and new carpet in between renters.
