It's my wife's father's home. He built it on 5 acres in the 50s. He bought it from a farmer who couldn't farm that part. Now that part of the county is the most wealthy land in the state. So he stopped maintaining the house about 15 years ago and he's been in an assisted care place for past 5 years. We are cleaning it out and going to put it on market. It's basically going to be a tear down. Someone will build a huge mansion on the site. Pretty sad. My wife lived there since she was a baby.

That's a lot of work and can be extra hard when there is a lot of sentimental attachment to the place and the things in the house. You will probably be dealing with a few tears. Good luck.
