Speedy: Draining the swamp?

Riverrat: Getting a new septic system installed. Due to new regulations we have to have a pump to pump the liquids to a drain field in the front yard now. Apparently the government thinks that gravity doesn't work under ground anymore. They are afraid the liquids will flow sideways into the swamp.
