Riverrat: It wasn't any destabilization the drove the price up, it was greed. Then the price got up high enough that it was profitable for U.S. companies to pump shale oil and the Saudis started losing market share so they started pumping more oil to drive the price back down and get their market share back.

ITM: I posted this because of the pipeline explosion in Alabama It might make gas go up in our area...so far not...might be an increase later on when supplies on hand dwindle

Riverrat: Last time they had problems with that pipeline there were shortages in NC where my brother lives. They only lasted a couple days. I think it was more panic buying than actual shortages.
