UncleJesse: Gas was $1/gallon pat of the time with Bill Clinton, then Chimpy Bush destabilized the Middle East and gas want to $5/gallon, now it's in the $1 range with Obama. Anyone see a pattern? Let's have Republicans pay $5/gallon and Dems pay $1/gallon.

Riverrat: Bush didn't destabilize the middle east. He only attacked Iraq and Afghanistan, not the whole middle east. He was friends with the Saudis. Gas prices were high because OPEC was limiting oil production to keep prices high. But that made it worthwhile for the oil companies to go else where to pump shale oil. so they started losing. Now they are pumping like crazy to keep prices down so they have a corner on the market. It has nothing to do with anything any president has done.

snippy: wrong^ bush loved the criminal saudis so much he let them control the price of oil thru oil output manipulation. the outrageous price rises of the last bunch of years funded isis and all the rest of the chaos, like yeman who they have been bombing the piss out of. now they(saudis) are risking ww3 by massing their army to invade syria. now the saudi oil manipulation has crippled the only recently renewed american oil production. bush's did this to us.
