Lots of countries give free college. It ends up being a good deal for us because college graduates pay more taxed upon getting higher paying jobs and buy tons of products after graduation because they are not burdened by student loans. In the end, it's a better payback for the government and economy.

Public universities in the US hold as much as $3 trillion in unfunded liabilities which would somehow need to be funded from other sources if tuition were free. Free college for all is a pipe dream

There is no such thing as free college. It just means that people that are working for a living get to pay for your education.

Used to be, the states paid for it. Nebraska and Ohio State are free to residents, I believe. When I went to the Univ. of California, tuition was about $1000 per year, pretty close to free.

The big giveaway to millionaires and billionaires is the repeal of the estate tax. Why should the government get a pile of your money because you die? It also has many deleterious effects on small farms and other family businesses. The left has never met a tax it didnt like
