Riverrat: Your mailmen still walk? Around here they ride in trucks and just pull up to the mailbox and shove the mail in.

ITM: That's called rural delivery. My mailman walks and all the mailboxes are on the porch not out on the road/street

Riverrat: I haven't seen anyplace in FL that has walking routes. There probably is some where but very rare anymore. When I lived in Holiday about 20 years ago we were required to put our mailboxes out on the street. It was a driving route but they didn't want the mail person to have to get out of his truck and put the mail in a box by the door.
