Riverrat: My SIL goes way overboard with Christmas decorations. But she took them all down already. Took 12 hours for the three of them to take them down and pack them away.

ITM: I always leave stuff up till New Years at least. The tree is a fire hazard if it's been allowed to get dry. Fifteen years ago a friend of mine had her tree catch fire in the middle of a cold night. It was a nightmare for sure.
